27 BANDITS REPENTS IN SOKOTO STATE

    27 armed bandits have reportedly pledged to stop banditry in the locality and surrender their arms.
This information was reached in the 4th security stakeholders’ meeting recently held in Sokoto State by the Chairman of the Isa local government area of the state, retired Col. Garba Moyi.
     This is a good developing act that will drastically remove occurrence of cattle rustlers menace, armed robbery, kidnaps and other related committed crimes. The chairman added, the council would ensure they are protected from thugs of any form who would want to cause intimidation or harassment on this repented bandits. Also assured them assurance of productive support to key into the society soon.
     High notion from the District Head of Gebe, Alhaji Aliyu Magayaki noted that the meeting and other subsequent interaction like this would enhance security of lives and property of the residents of the area.
