13 BOKO HARAM INSURGENTS KILLED AS NIGERIA ARMY UNDERGO CLEARANCE OPERATIONS

     The Nigerian Army troops of 112 Task Force Battalion, 22 Brigade, Nigerian Army on Operation Lafiya Dole, conducted joint operations with vigilantes and civilian JTF reports killing 13 Boko Haram insurgents during clearance operation in Sinbaya and Bomboshe villages of Dikwa L.G.A of Borno .

     Series of similar raids was carried out  in  Anaduwa village, Dagumba, Boboshe, Kajeri, Boskoro and Saleri area. The Army Troop also rescued 58 persons held captive, comprising 35 women and 23 children held by the terrorists.  the troops also discovered and destroyed the insurgents’ night market at Boboshe and neutralised five terrorists. The terrorists’ food store keeper was arrested in the raid Breg as reported by Gen, Usman Sani, the Director o Army Public Relation.
     Items recovered  by the troops are;   Insurgents flags, five Isuzu vehicles, three motorcycles,one Toyota truck, grinding machines and vehicles workshop tools.
The Nigeria Army once again reminds the general public to always report any movement of suspected persons within public environment to security agencies within.
