Akufo-Addo sworn in as president of Ghana



Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of New Patriotic Party has been sworn in as the president of the Republic of Ghana.

 The oath of office taken before thousands of people and African leaders at the inaugural ceremony, which held at the Black Stars square today  was led by the Chief Justice, Theodora Georgina Wood.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is now the number one citizen of Ghana, taken over from John Dramani Mahama.
