SERENA DEFEATS SISTER, VENUS TO CLAIM AUSTRALIAN OPEN TITLE

Its obviously undisputed, Serena Williams , 35, is the most prolific grand slam winner of the open era in women’s tennis and a seven-time winner of the Australian Open
after claiming her 23rd major singles title with a 6-4, 6-4 win over her sister Venus, 36,  at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday.

This triumph also made Serena a seven-time winner of the Australian Open, and this was the ninth time the sisters had met in a grand slam final. Eight years on from their last together.
35 years old Serena won 6-4 6-4  pass Steffi Graf in the all time list of major winners since the grand slam accepted professional players in 1968. Steff Graf previously was rated below Australia's Margaret Court. The only player still ahead of Serena in terms of grand slam singles titles on 24.
On a clear perspective, both sisters winner and loser were champions, their glory unquestioned. Venus prolific game play  alluded to her possibility in the lead-up to this match from the start up.  How ever they also relate to  Venus  who didn’t win because we all have those moments in our life.” But now, Serena Williams is Australian Open champion again.  Congratulations to the Williams.
